So, it turns out that I'm not the only one who buys the shoes first and then builds an outfit around them later. One of Wear It Out's readers submitted pics of these beauties and asked that we help her figure out how to wear them. If you owned these blue Marco Santi T-strap platform heels, how would you wear them? Would you wear them with jeans or a skirt? Where would you wear them?

ReplyDeleteThese are exactly the kind of shoes I would drool over and admire but not buy because I would not be able to figure out how best to wear them! So, I'm waiting to hear what you say... (not an answer to your question is it?!)
ReplyDeleteThese shoes are jewels, and deserve to be framed as such (can you say, "FOCUS!"). To mimic the black velvet drape of a jeweler's cloth, I'd pair them with either black skinny jeans or leggins, and a black hip-length jersey silk tunic. I'd finish it off with silver hoop earrings, and lots of tiny silver bangles on both arms.

ReplyDeleteP3PGroup - Ooh, I LOVE the suggestion of wearing them with a hip-length tunic! I wouldn't have thought of that.
ok, so then if in the summer, i would probably wear them with white. anything all white. white dress, or white jeans, anything white, with silver jewelry. i want the attention on the shoes.
